Prominent
saint from Warkari tradition of Maharashtra, Saint Namdev Ji travelled all
over India. He specilly spent time in Punjab awakening people
spiritually. There are 61 poems of Saint Namdev included in respected
Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji. One of the famous works of Saint Namdev ji
from Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji is Gobind hain San Gobind hain. Gobind bin
nahi koi.
In memory of Saint Namdev ji, a Gurudwara is built at Ghuman in Punjab.
At the age of 80 Saint Namdev entered into jeeva samadhi in front of the temple of Shri Vitthal in Pandharpur in Maharashtra
