THE MONUMENT OF LOVE:

If you zoom in on the photo of the woman shown in the picture, you will see a huge diamond worn around her neck. This is a 254 carat Jubilee Diamond which is equal in size and weight to the world famous 'KOHENOOR' diamond.

This woman is Meherbai Tata who was the daughter-in-law of Jamshedji Tata and the wife of his eldest son Sir Dorabji Tata.

In the year, 1924, when there was a recession due to the First World War and Tata Company did not have the money to pay salaries to the employees. Then Meherbai had mortgaged her priceless Jubilee Diamond in Imperial Bank for Rs 1 crore, so that the employees get regular salaries and the company continues to run.

After his untimely death from blood cancer, Sir Dorabji Tata established the Tata Memorial Cancer Research Foundation by selling this diamond for better treatment of cancer patients in India.

This monument built for love is a gift to HUMANITY. Look at the irony, we keep glorifying Taj Mahal as a monument of love and don't even know about the history of the one, who gives us life.

Revenge of Hindus Gopal Patha

Jinnah chose Kolkata (Calcutta) for his Direct Action day coz he wanted to have Kolkata in Pakistan. Kolkata was a major business city of India at that time, & Jinnah didn’t want to lose Kolkata!

The mission to Make Kolkata Hindu-free was given to Suhrawardy, who was Chief Minister of Bengal, & loyal to Jinnah.

At that time, Calcutta had 64% Hindus and 33% Muslims in 1946.

Suhrawardy started to execute his plan on 16th August - a strike was declared by him & all Muslims closed their shops, & gathered in masjid. It was Friday,18th day of Ramzan, and after namaz, a
Muslim mob started to butcher Hindus!

And as Suhrawardy expected, Hindus didn’t show any resistance, and easily succumbed to Muslim mobs.

Suhrawardy assured the Muslim mobs, that he has instructed the Police to not come in the way of their mission.

Mobs of lakhs of Muslims, armed with iron rods, swords and other dangerous weapons, spread to several parts of Calcutta, and neighbouring areas.

A Hindu shop of arms and weapons near the Muslim League office was attacked first. it was looted and burnt to ashes. The owner and his employees were beheaded. Hindus were chopped down ike vegetables. Many Hindu women and young girls were kidnapped and taken away as sex slaves.

On 16th August thousands of Hindus were killed & Hindu women were raped.

Killings continued on 17th August also.
600 Hindu labourers, mostly from Orissa at Kesoram Cotton Mills Lichubagan were beheaded.

A dance of massacre was going on in Kolkata. Hindus were running away from Kolkata, Suhrawardy was assured about his victory by 19th August.

Thousands of Hindus had been killed till 17th August.

But on 18th August, A Hindu decided to resist the Muslim mibs!He was a Bengali Brahmin & his name was Gopal Mukherjee. His friends used to call him Patha coz he used to run a meat shop.

He used to live at Malanga Lane in the Bowbazar area of Kolkata.

Gopal was 33 year old that time, & a staunch nationalist, and firm follower of Subash Chandra Bose & critique of Gandhi’s principle of non-violence.

Gopal used to run a street organization Bharat Jatiya Bahini. He had 500 - 700 people in his team - all were well-trained wrestlers.

On 18th Aug Gopal decided that they will not run away, & will will do a counter attack on the Muslims.

He called his wrestlers, gave them weapons. A Marwari businessman decided to finance him, & gave him adequate money.

His plan was first to secure Hindu areas by counter attacks.

His words were “Kill 10 Muslims for every 1 Hindu!”

Thr Muslim League had lakhs of jihadis, while Gopal had only few hundred fighters, but they made a plan, & decided to fight till end to save Kolkata becoming a Muslim city.

They made the rules that unlike Muslims they will not touch any enemy women n children.

Gopal himself was having 2 pistols that he had got from Azad Hind Fauj. From the afternoon of 18th Aug, Hindus under leadership of Gopal, started to fight back.

On 18th, when the Muslims came to Hindu colony to kill Hindus, they were greeted by Gopal’s team.

Gopal’s team killed each n every Muslim mobster who came to kill the Hindus & by the 19th, they had secured all Hindu colonies.

It was a complete surprise for Suhrawardy.

He didn’t think that Hindus will resist in this way.

When by 19th August they had secured Hindu areas, their revenge started from 20th August.

They marked all Jehadis who killed Hindus on 16th and 17th August & attacked them on 20th August.

By 19th the message was passed (reached) to all Hindus, that Hindus under the leadership of Gopal, were fighting the Muslims!

So by 21st August, a lot of Hindus had joined him, now started the revenge of the Hindus!

They killed so many Muslims in 2 days, that by 21st, deaths of Muslims outnumbered the deaths of Hindus!

The game had changed by 22nd August now! The Muslims were running away from Kolkata.

Suhrawardy accepted his defeat, & rushed to Congress leaders to request them to stop Gopal Patha, who had become Yamraj for the Muslims.

Gopal got ready on the conditions that all Muslims surrender their weapons to him, that Suhrawardy accepted.

Jinnah's plan to capture Kolkata was shattered by 22nd August.

The Bhagwa Flag was flying in Kolkata.

After Kolkata, Gopal did not dissolve his organization, and kept saving Hindus of Bengal.

When everything was over, as Police comes at the end of a feature film, Gandhi met to Gopal with his lessons of non violence, and Hindu-Muslim Unity, and asked him to surrender his Shastras (weapons).

Gopal’s words were “Gandhi called me twice, I didn’t go. The third time, some local Congi leaders told me that I should at least deposit some of my arms. I went there. I saw people coming and depositing weapons, which were of no use to anyone, out-of-order pistols, that sort of thing!"

Then Gandhi’s Secretary said to me: ‘Gopal, why don’t you surrender your arms to Gandhiji?’

Gopal replied, `"With these arms, I saved the women of my area, I saved the people. I will not surrender them. Where was Gandhiji, I said, during the Great Calcutta Killing? Where was he then? Even if I’ve used a nail to kill someone, I won’t surrender even that nail!”

Suhrawardy said “When Hindus make up their minds to fight back, they are the most deadly and lethal race in the world!"

Gopal Patha and Syama Prasad Mukherjee were the two legendary heroes who saved the Hindus of Bengal from Jehadi Muslim mobsters!

But before reading this, how many of you were aware of Gopal Patha?

Since Gopal did not follow Gandhi’s principle, his name was removed from books of history.

But he is the unsung Hero of India, who saved lives of lakhs of people.

Only due to him Kolkata is part of India today.

Never forget this name – Gopal Patha!

Time Travel In Bharat

The mythology of time travel is extensive and far reaching. While the idea of an actual "time machine" wasn't conceived until the late 1800's, you can find legends and stories that features a hero traveling to the past or future in a magical, fantastical way. I thought I would share with you one of those stories that we’ll be touching upon in the documentary.

Mahabharata, 400BC
One of the very first time travel stories that have been recorded in history appears in the Hindu epic, Mahabharata– speculated to be written as early as 400BC. The story follows a king, his daughter, and their search for a perfect suitor.

Revati was the only daughter of King Kakudmi, a powerful monarch who ruled Kusasthali, a prosperous and advanced kingdom under the sea. Thinking no one could prove to be good enough to marry his beautiful daughter, Kakudmi took Revati with him to Brahmaloka, the home of Brahma, to ask the god's advice about finding a suitable husband for husband for her.
Brahma was listening to a musical performance when they arrived, and so they waited patiently until the performance was finished. Finally, King Kakudmi humbly bowed and made his request:

“O Brahmâ! To whom shall I betroth this daughter? I have come to you to ask on this point I have searched for many princes and seen also a good many of them and none of them is to my liking and so my mind is not at rest.”

Brahma laughed at the foolishness of the King.

“O King! The princes that you thought would become the bridegroom of your daughter, all died; their sons and grandsons and their friends even have all passed away.”

Time, Brahma goes on to explain, runs differently on different planes of existence. During the time they had waited in Brahmaloka to see him, 27 chatur-yugas, had passed on Earth. Everything that Kakudmi had and owned, his friends and family, his sons and wife, his armies and treasures, had vanished with the time that had passed. The King and his daughter were overcome with astonishment and grief for everything they had lost, but Brahma comforted them, and recommended a worthy husband currently on earth: Balarama, the twin brother of Krishna.

What is really interesting though, is how similar their view of time was 2500 years ago to how physicists and astronomers conceptualize space-time today. In Einstein’s theory of relativity, time is relative to the observer’s frame of reference- it depends on the observer’s motion and strength of gravity. For instance, one could argue that time here on earth runs slower than in space because gravity slows the passage of time.

Hindu philosophy was familiar with the concept that time is relative and many passages on the Vedic scriptures continuously point out that the cosmic time of the gods is different than the time on earth.

Were King Kakudmi and his daughter two unwitting time travelers? What they thought were just minutes in front god Brahma, millennia had taken place at home. When they came back, they did so to a vastly different place.

Today, we so often think of time as an arrow moving in one direction, with a beginning, middle and end. But I think it is interesting to look at different cultures and how they view time. Their perceptions help us look at time, and the idea of time travel, a little bit differently.

Water on Mars -Varahamihira

Varahamihira- Indian scientist and mathemetician

We heard about NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) founding the “strongest evidence yet that liquid water flows intermittently on present-day Mars,” something, which triggered hope of finding the historical footprints of Martian history.

Prophecy on Mars by Varahamihira

But, what if, we told you that its presence was already predicted almost 1500 years back from now? Shocked? Then this might make you sit up- an Indian had let this prophecy!

Facts about Varahamihira

Varāhamihira, an Indian astronomer, mathematician and astrologer, from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India, son of Adityadasa (an astronomer himself) in his book made insights on and about ‘space and universe’, which have shocked the scientists of today.

Varahamihira's contribution to world

Those of you, who failed to recognize him, Varāhamihira is the one whose mathematical work included the discovery of the trigonometric formula!

Great scholar

But, the calculations and revelations that we are going to share with you are about the discovery of water on Mars. Read on to know...

Panchasiddhantika

Born in year 505, Varāhamihira brew his knowledge on mathematics and astronomy from Kapitthaka. Among his famous works, Panchasiddhantika (The Five Astronomical Canons) dated back to 575 AD, holds prime importance.

Diameter of planets

Panchasiddhantika includes, Surya Siddhanta, an astronomical treatise which explains or determines the true motions of the luminaries. Under this work, Varāhamihira has also explained the estimated diameters of the planets, like, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter.

Surya siddhanta

Surya Siddhanta also carries calculations on and about solar eclipses and lunar eclipses, its color and portion as well.

Mar's diameter prediction

Apart from the estimated diameter, which was calculated to be 3,772 miles (that has an error within 11% of the currently accepted diameter of 4,218 miles), Varāhamihira also predicted the presence of water on Mars.

Smt. Neera Arya (05-03-1902 / 26-07-1998)

The brave woman who let her “Breast” cutoff to protect Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose!

She married Srikont Joironjon Das who was a CID Inspector in the British police. While Neera Arya was a true nationalist her husband was a true British servant. Being a patriot Neera joined the Jhansi Regiment of Indian National Army led by Subhash Chandra Bose. Neera’s husband Inspector Srikont Joironjon Das was spying on Subhash Chandra Bose and Joironjon Das once opened fire on Bose but fortunately, Bose escaped unhurt. In order to save Subhash Bose, Neera stabbed her husband to death.

However, after surrender of the I.N.A. a trial took place (Nov-1945 & May-1946) in the Red Fort, all the prisoners were released, except Neera. She was transported to Cellur Jail, Andaman where she was tortured every day.

A Blacksmith came to remove the Iron Chains & Fetters and he intentionally cut-off a bit of her skin and hit her legs with a hammer 2-3 times. She endured the excruciating pain.

The Jailer who was watching the sadistic game offered to release Neera, if she reveals the whereabouts of Subhash Bose. Neera replied that Bose died in a plane crash and the entire world knows about it. The Jailer refused to believe and replied, u’re lying & Bose is still alive; thereupon Neera said "Yes, he’s alive, he lives in my heart!" The jailer got furious and said, “Then we will remove Bose from your heart” The jailer touched her inappropriately & tore her cloths apart and ordered the blacksmith to chop off her breast. The blacksmith immediately took the breast ripper & started crushing her right breast. The savagery didn't stop there, the jailer held her neck & said I'll take off both your 'balloons' out of your chest. He further said with a barbaric smile "this breast ripper is not heated or else your breast would’ve already been chopped off".

Neera Arya spent her last days of her life selling flowers and she lived in a small cottage in Falaknuma, Bhagyanagaram. The government of 'independent' (?) India demolished her cottage alleging that it was constructed on a Govt land.

Neera Arya died on  26-07-1998 as a destitute, unwept & unsung.

I bet, the majority of our people are blissfully unaware of all this .... and the Nation continues to sing the exalted glory of Gandhi & Nehru

Nano 1975

What "Socialism" does. How it destroys efforts. Remember the effort involved in 1975 when you read the article. The gentleman who developed it was self taught, self made person.
.
1975 Nano precurssor.

An ode to one of the lesser known pioneering victims of License-Raaj and planning commission. India's first "Nano" was designed 40 years ago, was called Meera and no entrepreneur thought to or was allowed by government to invest in it. So much for "Socialism".

Why did govt of India did not allow this project to take-off? Because Japan's Suzuki was going to invest in Sanjay-Gandhi's (then) future dream company (Maruti). This car would have been its competitor hence license was not given.

Sanatani Veer killed with his entire family by crushing in an oil mill .

Baba Moti Ram Mehra (fl. late 17th – early 18th century) was a devoted disciple and servant of the Guru Gobind Singh who, disregarding the risk to his own life, managed to enter the Thanda Burj in a very dramatic manner and serve milk to the Mata Gujri and Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, the two younger Sahibzadas (sons) of Guru Gobind Singh for three nights, where they were kept under arrest by the Mughal Governor of Sirhind, Wazir. Khan.
.
On December 27, 1704, the Sahibzadas were martyred and Mata Gujri also died. He arranged sandal wood for their cremation. Someone told the Nawab that his servant had served those prisoners with milk and water. The Nawab ordered the arrest of Baba Moti Ram Mehra and his mother, wife and a little son. He did not conceal his act and boldly told the Nawab that it was his pious duty to serve the imprisoned children and their grandmother.
.
Hence Baba Moti Ram Mehra, along with his family, was sentenced to death by being squeezed in a Kohlu (oil press)

Dr.Durgabai Deshmukh

Image result for durgabai deshmukh

Durgābāi Deshmukh (15 July 1909 – 9 May 1981) was an Indian freedom fighter, lawyer, social worker and politician. She was a member of the Constituent Assembly of India and of the Planning Commission of India.

A public activist for women's emancipation, she founded the Andhra Mahila Sabha (Andhra Women's Conference) in 1937. She was also the founder chairperson of the Central Social Welfare Board. In 1953, she married C.D. Deshmukh, the first Indian governor of the Reserve Bank of India and Finance Minister in India's Central Cabinet during the years 1950-1956

Among the southern states, Andhra had the unique distinction of contributing the largest contingent of women Satyagrahis who, unmindful of the hardships, entered the prisons. In the non-cooperation movement of 1922, a young girl of twelve years offered satyagraha at Kakinada. This young girl, Durgabai, afterwards exhibited her dynamic abilities by founding a unique organization — the Andhra Mahila Sabha — which is regarded as the foremost among the women’s welfare and educational institutions of entire South India.

Durgabai, familiar to the rest of the country as Durgabai Deshmukh was born in Rajahmundry on 15 July 1909. As noted earlier she participated in the Non-Co-operation Movement when she was hardly twelve years of age. After the suspension of the Non Co-operation Movement, she propagated the ideals of Gandhiji in the villages around Rajahmundry and Kakinada, by establishing schools to give training to women in spinning and weaving.

Along with Andhra Kesari T. Prakasam she participated in the Salt Satyagraha movement in Madras city in May 1930. She was imprisoned in 1930 and again in 1932. In spite of her active participation in the national struggle Durgabai found time to take the M.A. and B.L. degrees. From 1935 till her death she devoted her entire energy to the welfare of women and children.

In 1936 she established Andhra Mahila Sabha mainly, to coach young Telugu girls of Madras city to appear for the Matriculation examination of the Banaras Hindu University. From such a humble beginning Andhra Mahila Sabha became within a decade a great institution of education and social welfare in the city of Madras. She had the unique capacity to get funds for the institution from both the rich and the poor alike. Andhra Mahila Sabha trained women in various activities like nursing, journalism, and teaching. Durgabai founded and edited a monthly journal in Telugu called Andhra Mahila. The activities of Andhra Mahila Sabha attracted the attention of Pandit Nehru who wanted to utilize the services of Durgabai at the national level.

At the national level Durgabai’s services were utilized fully. She was the Chairwoman of a number of central organizations like, Central Social Welfare Board, National Council for Women’s Education and National Committee on girls’ and women’s education. She was a Member of Parliament and Planning Commission. She was also associated with the Andhra Educational Society, New Delhi.
After the formation of Andhra Pradesh, Andhra Mahila Sabha extended its activities to Hyderabad city. At Hyderabad, Andhra Mahila Sabha, besides running a number of educational institutions including a college, opened many welfare institutions for women and children.

Durgabai was awarded the fourth Nehru Literary Award in 1971 for her outstanding contribution to the promotion of literacy in India. In 1975 she was awarded ‘Padma Vibhushan.’

Durgabai Deshmukh died on 9th May, 1981. In her death the country has lost one of the most dynamic women of the country.

Hakka-Bukka -Founders of Vijayanagara

Bukkaraya(also known as Bukka) as well as his brother Hakka (also known as Harihara I) were born in the Kamma clan and were commanders in the army of the Kakatiya King of Warangal. After the King of Warangal was defeated by forces of Malik Kafur sent by Muhammad bin Tughlaq, Bukka and his brother were taken prisoners and sent to Delhi. Both were forced to convert to Islam. Bukka and his brother eventually escaped and retained their Hindu traditions and founded the Vijayanagara Empire under the influence of the High Priest of Sringeri Mutt called Vidyaranya.

Little did Hakka and Bukka, two brothers and soldiers know that seeing a fox being driven away by rabbits would lead them to the establishment of an empire on the banks of the Tungabhadra river. Once, while walking by the banks of Tungabhadra river, they saw the strange sight of a fox being chased away by rabbits. They then met a sage and told him about the strange event they had witnessed.

The sage’s name was Vidyaranya. He told them that the land they stood on was very powerful and any city built at this spot as the capital of a kingdom would repulse attacks from even the most powerful of kings. Thus, the city of Vijayanagara (city of victory) or Vidyanagara (named after sage Vidyaranya) was born.Hakka and Bukka wanted to build a huge kingdom with palaces, temples and forts. But Sage Vidyaranya wanted to fix an auspicious moment to dig the foundation for the city. The brothers waited for that moment and suddenly they heard the sound of a conch shell. Thinking it was the announcement of the auspicious moment they started digging the foundation. But then they heard a second conch sound. Confused they went to see their Guru who said that the first sound was made to announce the sunrise and the second sound was made by Vidyaranya to announce the right moment which, if they had followed correctly, would have led to the kingdom to last 3600 years.

The rabbits chasing the fox could be just a story. But the empire of Vijayanagara founded in 1336 lasted for only 310 years i.e completely destroyed on 1646 by Muslim rulers. Vijayanagara was ruled by many dynasties including the Sangama, Saluva and the Tuluva. The descendents of Hakka and Bukka belonged to the Sangama dynasty. The fortifications and irrigation work owe much to their efforts. They also managed to overthrow the muslim rulers.

The greatest of the Vijayanagara rulers, Krishnadevaraya, belonged to the Tuluva dynasty. He ruled till 1529 and his time was considered to be the golden age.Several Portuguese travellers and traders who visited Vijayanagara wrote detailed reports about its glory. Domingos Paes (1520–22) who visited Vijayanagara during Krishnadeva’s reign, was fascinated by the greatness of Vijayanagara’s fortified urban landscape, its markets, temples and the royal centre. Paes’ detailed description of the city of Vijayanagara is of immense help for identifying and interpreting the still impressive ruins of Vijayanagara which once was, according to Paes, as large as Rome and “the best provided city of the world”.

Importance of Happy Women In Manu Smriti.

3.56. The society that provides respect and dignity to women flourishes with nobility and prosperity. And a society that does not put women on such a high pedestal has to face miseries and failures regardless of how so much noble deeds they perform otherwise.

3.55. A father, brother, husband or brother-in-law should keep their daughter, sister, wife or sister-in-law happy and pleased through gentle words, respectful behavior, gifts etc. Those who desire prosperity should ensure that women in their family are always happy and do not face miseries.

3.57. A family where women remain unhappy due to misdeeds of their men is bound to be destroyed. And a family where women are always happy is bound to prosper forever.

3.58. A family- where women feel insulted or discriminated against and curse their menfolk- is destroyed in same manner as poison kills all those who eat it.

3.59. One desiring glory should ensure that he keeps women in the family by giving them respect and pleasing them with good ornaments, dresses, food. Women should always be revered under all circumstances.

3.62. A person who does not keep her wife happy causes misery for entire family. And if wife is happy, entire family appears as happiness incarnate.

9.26. Women give birth to next generation. They enlighten the home. They bring fortune and bliss. Hence women are synonymous to Prosperity.

This shloka forms the basis of women being called Ghar ki Laxmi or ‘Goddess of Fortune in Home‘ in India even till today.

9.28. Woman is the source of all kinds of happiness in all generations – be it from children, or from noble benevolent deeds or through conjugal bliss or through service of elders.
In other words, woman is the primary source of bliss in many forms – sometimes as mother, sometimes as daughter, sometimes as wife and sometimes as a partner in spiritual deeds. It also means that participation of women is necessary for conduct of any religious or spiritual activity.

9.96. Man and Woman are incomplete without each other. Hence the most ordinary religious duty would demand participation of both.

Thus, those who deny Vedas or Vedic rituals to women are anti-Hindu and anti-Humanity.

4.180. A wise man should not indulge in fights and arguments with his family members including mother, daughter and wife.

9.4. A father who does not marry his daughter to a deserving groom deserves condemnation. A husband who does not fulfill just demands of her wife deserves condemnation. A son who does not take care of her widow mother deserves condemnation.

Polygamy is a sin

9.101. Husband and Wife should remain together till death. They should not approach any other partner, nor commit adultery. This, in summary, is the Dharma or religion of all human beings.

Thus those societies which justify polygamy or sex-slavery or temporary marriage are bound to suffer miseries because they neglect the core tenet of Dharma.

Autonomy of Women

9.11. Women should be provided autonomy and leadership in managing the finances, maintaining hygiene, spiritual and religious activities, nutrition and overall management of home.

The shloka clearly puts aside false claims that women do not have right to conduct religious rituals of Vedas. On contrary, women should lead such rituals. Thus all those people who suggest that women do not have right to study or practice Vedas are against Manu and Vedas. Such bigoted people are the cause for misery of the nation. We should simply not tolerate such mindsets that demean women.

9.12. A woman who is kept constrained in a home by noble men (husband, father, son) is still insecure. Thus it is futile to restrict women. Security of women would come only through her own capabilities and mindset.

This shloka explains the futility to attempting to restrict a woman to home in name of providing her security. On contrary, to secure her, she should be given the right training so that she can defend herself and avoid getting misled by bad company. The prevailing notion of cornering women within a small home is against Manu’s ideology.

Protection of Women

9.6. Even a weak husband should attempt to protect his wife.

9.5 Women should keep themselves away from vices. Because when women lose character, the entire society is destroyed.

5.149. A woman should always ensure that she is protected. It is duty of father, husband and son to protect her.

Please note that this protection does not imply restriction as clear from verse 9.12 cited in previous section. But a society that does not protect its womenfolk from attacks of perverts writes its own destiny of doom.

It is because of this inspiration that many a brave warriors laid their lives to protect the dignity of their women when butchers from West and Central Asia invaded our nation. The sacrifices of Alha-Udal and valor of Maharana Pratap brings a gush of glory in our blood.
Its a shame that despite such a chivalrous foundation of our culture, we have women either oppressed in backyard of homes or commoditized as sensual-items instigating lust. When we ourselves have turned invaders instead of protectors of dignity of women, who can help us!

Marriage of Women

9.89. It is better to keep the daughter unmarried than force her to marry an undeserving person.

9.90-91. A woman can choose her own husband after attaining maturity. If her parents are unable to choose a deserving groom, she can herself choose her husband.

Thus the concept of parents deciding the groom for their daughter is against Manu. A mature daughter has full rights to choose her husband. Parents act as facilitators for the marriage and not final decision makers, as wrongly practiced in many societies.

Property Rights of Women

9.130. A daughter is equivalent to a son. In her presence, how can any one snatch away her right over the property.

9.131. A daughter alone has the right over personal property of her mother.
Thus, as per Manu, while daughter has equal share as her brothers over property of her father, she has exclusive rights over property of her mother. The reason for this special treatment of women is to ensure that women are never at mercy of anyone. After all happy dignified women form the foundation of a happy society!

9.212-213. If a person has no kins or wife, then his wealth be distributed equally among his brothers and sisters. If the elder brother refuses to give due share to other brothers and sisters, he is punishable by law.

To further ensure safety of women, Manu recommended harsh punishments for those who rob away wealth of a woman, even if they are her relatives.

8.28-29. If a woman is alone because she has no children, or no men to provide for her security in her family, or is widow, or whose husband has gone abroad, or who is unwell, then it is duty of the government to ensure her safety and security. If her wealth is robbed by her relatives or friends, then the government should provide strict punishment to the culprits and have her wealth returned back.

Prohibition of Dowry

3.52. Those relatives who rob away or thrive on wealth, property, vehicles or dresses of a woman or her family are wiliest of people.

Thus any kind of dowry is a strict NO NO as per Manu Smriti. No one should dare attempt to take away the property of a woman.

The next shloka takes this concept further and states that even slightest exchange of tangible items amounts to sale/purchase and hence against principles of noble marriage. In fact Manu Smriti suggests that a marriage along with dowry is marriage of ‘Devils’ or Asuri Vivah.

Strict Punishment for harming Women

8.323. Those who abduct women should be given death sentence.

9.232. Those who kill women, children or scholarly virtuous people should be given strictest punishment.

8.352. Those who rape or molest women or incite them into adultery should be given harshest punishment that creates fear among others to even think of such a crime.
Interestingly, a judge of sessions court suggested today that castration seems the best punishment to prevent alarming increase in rape cases. Refer We are in agreement with such a law.

8. 275. One should be punished if he puts false allegations or demeans mother, wife or daughter.

8.389. Those who abandon their mother, father, wife or children without any reasonable reason should face severe punishments.

Ladies First

The concept of Ladies First seems to originate from Manu Smriti.

2.138. A man in a vehicle should give way to the following – aged person, diseased person, one carrying burden, groom, king, student and a woman.

3.114. One should feed the following even before feeding the guests – newly married women, girls, and pregnant women.
May we all work together to implement this true Manuvaad by showering respect and ensuring dignity of the motherly force. How else can prosperity be restored in the society, nation and world?

He attacked the British garrison on April 2, 1829. He fought valiantly but was captured and deported to British jail in Dhaka where he died on July 17, 1835.

THE ALGORITHM GIVEN BY NARAYANA PANDIT (1325-1400 AD)

IS USED IN THE COMMAND next_permutation IN C++ PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE.

Nārāyana Pandit was the first who gave a non-recursive algorithm for expansion of partitions of a number. He demonstrated his algorithm which is based on finding the next permutation in lexicographical order. In this algorithm, one has to start by sorting the sequence in increasing order to get its lexicographically minimal solution and repeat advancing to the next permutation as long as one is found.

The algorithm applied by Nārāyana Pandit is:
Step 1 : Find largest index k such a[k] < a[k+1] that ;
Step 2 : Find largest index 1 such that a[k] < a[1]
Step 3 : Swap a[k] and a[1]
Step 4 : Reverse the range a[k+1] to a[n-1]

Two examples given by Narayana Pandit are shown in images enclosed.

Shree Jagannath Das ji

Jagannath Das ji became sadhu in 1944. Traveled all over India and for last four decades staying in his Ashram on the banks of Narmada in Garudeshwar.

At this age he his perfectly self reliant. He walks at good speed with youngsters. Wakes up at 4.00 am daily and is ready for informal interactions with his disciples at 7.00 am. His sharp memory is miracle.

I am currently helping him with some herbal & natural treatment for temporary leg pain. The treatment includes use of medicated mud. And it's giving good results.

All 100+ person's I have met are spiritual people following perfect yogic & ayurvedic lifestyle. Importantly their knowledge doesn't come from books but learnt through experiences and knowledge passed by earlier conscoius generations. Unwavering devotion to god is a common factor in them.

I have been eagerly trying to pass on such knowledge, tips to my beloved friends, people in general. But the acceptance levels are low. Influence of illusion is so powerful. They would like to make their life choices based on opinion of doctors, advertisements, western life patterns. Unfortunately all these have commercial motive.

Institution of conscious health keepers needs to be preserved & promoted.

Salaam to Jagannath Das ji. And the supreme institution of 'sadhus'.
